I Dreamed About A Dead Writer (An Author Highlight)

via Pinterest

I dreamed I was standing in front of a giant leather-bound journal with a doorknob. An elderly woman appeared by the door.

“Welcome to the sacred knowledge,” The woman announced.

I woke up from this dream right as the door opened. I’ve seen the woman before on the internet: Dolores Cannon. The leather-bound door from my dream almost looked like the journal on the cover of Cannon’s book (no key though): The Search for Hidden Sacred Knowledge.

The Search for Hidden Sacred Knowledge (Amazon) (Goodreads)

This was before I’ve read the book and created the book review about it.

At first, I thought she was still alive during the time I had the dream.

I’ve discovered later she passed away in 2014. I had the dream in 2015. So yeah, I’ve dreamed about a dead writer. It’s kind of cool and creepy at the same time.

Who was Dolores Cannon?

Author Dolores Cannon (1931-2014) via Collective Evolution

Dolores Cannon was a past life regression hypnotherapist. She worked with her husband helping clients with common problems with fears, addiction, and weight issues. She didn’t get into past life sessions until one hypnotized client recalled her past life as a 1920s flapper. After this eventful meeting, she dove deeper into the study of past lives, wrote books on the subject, and established her own publication company: The Ozark Mountain Publishing. Cannon lived in Arkansas.

Which topics Cannon covers in her books?

  • Past lives
  • UFO/Aliens
  • Atlantis/Lemuria
  • Life on other planets
  • Nostradamus’ prophecies
  • The world’s mysterious sites (Bermuda Triangle, Stonehenge, etc.)
  • Jesus
  • The Essenes

How many books she has written?

According to Dolores Cannon’s Latest Books, she has written nineteen. A few more are listed on her page on Paper Back Swap.

How did she pass away?

Honestly, I only found vague answers. Some websites only mention she had an “accident”, recovered shortly in a hospital, but passed away eventually in her sleep.

To sum things up, I thank Dolores Cannon for recommending her books in my dreams. The metaphysical topics she uncovers match perfectly with my interests!

UFOs? Sweet!

Past lives in Atlantis? Heck yes!

I might as well read all of her books!

Have you met any dead authors in your dreams?
